This past year I have been working hard to face my fear of change and gradually check things off my Dream-To-Do list. I've joined a sorority, switched majors, and even found enough courage to cut off about a foot of hair (something I swore I would never be able to do). While these all felt like a huge deal to me, I knew I didn't want to stop there.
Earlier this week I said goodbye to my home by spending one last day in the city. After wishing for sun every Tuesday for the entirety of Spring quarter, Tyler and I finally found a good time to visit Pike Place. The trip involved eating everything the market has to offer, including Beecher's mac and cheese, Piroshky Piroshky, cheesecake, and mini donuts. And obviously I couldn't leave without a bouquet of peonies, my favorite flower.
Today I sit in the Sea Tac airport, officially taking the next step in crossing off another huge thing from my list: study abroad. I'll be spending a month in London where I'll be surrounded by amazing art, architecture and theatre. I've always wanted to have a creative outlet that involves more than just reblogging candid photos of Taylor Swift on Tumblr, and what's a better topic than international travel? I can't wait to capture photos of everything around me (and of course talk about all the cute dresses I wear in the process). Goodbye Seattle, Hello London!
