If you're looking for the perfect photo opportunities in Disneyland, you might as well head straight to Fantasyland. From Alice to Dumbo, this area of the park is a pastel dream!
The teacup ride was high on my list of musts for our visit last month, mainly because I am obsessed with all the color. I had to nail that perfect spinning picture, so I was lucky to have Taylor with me -- she always understands what it takes to get the shot. While we were both antsy to get our pics, we agreed to wait until golden hour to get the best lighting, and it was totally worth it!
The only downside to photos on the ride is that you are in a rush, so that you don't hold up the other guests. I missed out on a couple ideas that I had because I got flustered, so I recommend coming up with a plan of attack while you wait in line.
Luckily the area around the ride is gorgeous as well. I loved these giant petals modeled after the caterpillar scene from the movie, because they made a really great backdrop to show off my ears. I was also really excited because while Taylor and I were shooting in this spot, Alice walked by and I was able to stop her for a quick polaroid!
This was my first trip to Disneyland since I was in the second grade, so I wanted to go all out with my small shop merch. There are quite a few that I love, but these Ariel-inspired ears are from Pixie Supply Co, and the Mermaid Lagoon tee is from Lost Bros Trading.
